We’ve got ambitious plans to grow our business and are looking for a skilled national account manager to lead the charge. Reporting to the sales director, you’ll be the go-to between Carwood and our high-profile accounts across the UK and Europe; building relationships, prioritising customer satisfaction, promoting new products and services and ultimately driving revenue and profitability. To do this, you’ll need a customer-focused mindset, with decisive thinking, creative problem-solving and strong negotiating and interpersonal skills.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver revenue and profitability targets for the UK and Europe, in line with the company’s business plan
- Negotiate national account business contracts to establish growth and a stronger customer/supplier partnership
- Lead the creation of proposals, business plans and presentations to national accounts
- Work with relevant functions to ensure successful and timely delivery of products/services to customers
- Identify and execute business growth opportunities across both the region and product portfolio
- Seek new ways to consistently deliver a positive customer experience
- Manage customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner
- Report key metrics to senior management, as required
- Support the creation and implementation of effective marketing strategies to promote Carwood’s products and services
- Monitor and identify market trends, competitors and new sales leads
- Hold regular sales development meetings to help progress the offer in line with budget expectations

What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regional or national account management role
- Hold or willing to work towards a Higher National Certificate or Batchelors Degree in Sales & Marketing, or a related field
- Good grasp and technical awareness of Carwood’s products and services
- A customer-first approach
- Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas
- Proven negotiating skills with a history of delivering numbers
- Excellent decision making and leadership skills
- Good working attitude
