Our extensive line-up of gear reduction starters is engineered to deliver faster cranking speeds and up to 120% more cranking power. MADE IN-HOUSE
We design, cast, machine and assemble all our high-performance starting and charging solutions, by hand, in our own workshop based in Yeovil, Somerset. Each unit is end-of-line tested, to ensure the very highest performance, in even the most demanding of racing conditions.
Specialist Reman
We also offer a full remanufacturing service for modern, retro and customer starter motors and alternators. Just like our all-new competition range, they are built in-house, for a part that performs just like the original, sometimes even better.

Featuring the latest lithium-ion technology, our Antigravity batteries save up to 70% in weight over their led acid equivalents, yet still deliver double the cranking power. With optional re-start technology built-in, it’s quick and easy to restart the engine if there’s a flat battery.
GET A BOOST
We also offer a full lineup off Garrett performance turbochargers, intercoolers, valves and accessories. With engine displacements from 1.4L to 12.0L, and horsepower from 140 up to 3,000, the range offers boosting solutions for almost any gas engine.
PUMP UP YOUR PERFORMANCE
Carwood’s uprated fuel pump (PFP0261520520R) for BMW 3, 4 and 6 cyl engines has been designed to deliver optimum performance and durability. The HP pump enables a continuous 350bar max rail pressure throughout the engine speed range, 10% more fuel volume per pumping event, and requires no mods to the wiring loom and hydraulic connections.
HASSLE-FREE INSTALLATION
All our parts are designed for a quick, right-1st-time fit. Our starters feature a removal mount allowing 360° access. Our alternators, a range of bracket configurations for optimum compatibility. And thanks to additional wiring modifications, our fuel pumps, are ready to plug and play, so you can get back out on the track in no time at all.
