Carwood extends portfolio of quality turbo solutions with BMTS distribution

With OE and OE-quality units, aftermarket customers can access trusted, high-quality components for more late-model vehicles.

To meet evolving aftermarket demands, leading remanufacturer Carwood, has added BMTS (formally Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems) to its growing portfolio of boosting solutions. The company already remanufactures an extensive range of OE-equivalent turbochargers and is an authorised distributor for BorgWarner and Mitsubishi. By combining Bosch Mahle OE and OE-quality units, engineered to the same exacting standards, Carwood can deliver a more comprehensive turbo solution, tailored to a wider range of customer needs, vehicle applications and budgets.

“With OE and OE-quality new and reman units, we’re giving workshops and distributors greater choice, when sourcing and fitting turbochargers,” explains Will Johnson, Head of Sales – Turbochargers, Carwood. “Whether it’s a straight OE swap, or a like-for-like replacement, aftermarket companies can choose from a range of proven-quality parts at different price points, for a right-1st-time, profitable vehicle repair.”

The programme extends beyond BMTS’ own original equipment turbochargers, spanning close on 400 part numbers for car, commercial vehicle and off-highway applications. This includes over 75 OE references fitted to popular, late model BMW, VW and Vauxhall/Opel applications, plus a broader range of OE-quality units for improved all makes coverage of BorgWarner, Mitsubishi, IHI and Garrett. Both are backed by the expertise and reputation of leading OE provider, BMTS, ensuring dependable OE performance across the entire range. The full programme is catalogued on TecDoc, MAM and www.carwoodhub.co.uk.
